Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Deferral Period Ending

The 30-month payment deferment period for the earliest SBA pandemic EIDLs is rapidly approaching. Businesses that have not already begun making payments should review their account to determine the upcoming first payment date.

Small Business Legal Assistance
The Small Business Legal Assistance program matches small business owners with attorneys for a no-cost, hour-long consultation. This program is not available to parties entering or in active litigation. Volunteer attorneys are available to address common legal issues, such as bankruptcy, contracts, employment, government benefits, and real estate. To determine eligibility for this program, register at www.northwestsbdc.org and briefly describe your situation.

Hwy 133 Low-Interest Disaster Loans

The SBA is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to small businesses economically impacted by the Colorado Highway 133 sinkhole and road closure that occurred May 2 – June 19, 2023. The disaster declaration makes SBA assistance available in Chaffee, Delta, Eagle, Hinsdale, Garfield, Gunnison, Mesa, Montrose, Ouray, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt and Saguache counties in Colorado. These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can’t be paid because of the disaster’s impact. Eligibility is based on the financial impact of the disaster only and not on any actual property damage.
