Federal Grant Support
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. The SBA partially funds the SBDC network nationwide.
Our Local Host
Eagle County Government became the host of Northwest SBDC in 2019 as a part of its strategic plan to promote a diverse and resilient economy. Recognizing the importance of small business technical assistance to a vibrant regional economy, Eagle County hosts the Northwest SBDC on behalf of the 10-county region.
